two things google needs to do
August 20th, 2007 | by geo |I use gmail everyday, and am now using google docs and spreadsheets almost everyday. Yesterday, I did a quick search for a nearby store on my mobile, and not only did I have directions and address in 30 seconds, but I was also able to call them with one click. 100% seamless experience. With all of these advancements in google mobile services (I also use the movie search and news) you would think I could at least sync all of my contacts. Where is this feature?
I want to store all of my contacts in google and sync them with anything….device, pc whatever. This is such a simple concept why does it not exist?
#2 - Google Docs and Spreadsheets is gaining momentum, and now by teaming up with SUN (OpenOffice) they pose a major threat to Microsoft. To put the nail in coffin - they need to call the guys over at QuickOffice and integrate google apps into the mobile office suite. This would be a killer move - and will likely make more people use google docs on the go. (FYI - nobody is going to use google docs through the browser..unless on an iphone maybe a chance..but nothing for mass adoption).
