the new online market - best of ebay and craigslist

Flippid matches people who want stuff, with people who have stuff. Name your price, and let people sell it to you.

Remember Priceline.com? You put in the maximum price you are willing to pay for airline tickets, and if they find tickets for that price you are notified to purchase. Flipped is applying this same concept to buying things online….put in your price and what you want (even tag it with keywords) and sellers are notified. My favorite part- it’s easy to search and also post things (maybe easier than ebay) - and you don’t have to wait for an auction. If you see something you like, you can buy it right away. They seem to have combined the best features of ebay/craigslist/and priceline. I’ve signed up and tested it…so far I like it. I think this will have a chance of taking off - assuming they get enough traffic to creat a true marketplace…and so far they are doing a great job!
