Mobile Wallet - When???

One of the “trends” I was planning to see with major FOCUS this year at 3GSM was M-Commerce/Mobile Banking. Yes, VeriSign made a big PR on their new platform (really the biggest news in m-comm from my view), and there were some other smaller companies (start ups)…but there was no big TREND SETTING message at the event. I was expecting to see it….100% wrong. I thought 2007 would be the yr for this to take off..(i mean market it - consumer awareness!)..i guess the market is still much further out - Social networking was very big - and CONTENT was KING - go figure :>

oh yea - and the major carriers are joining forces to own the mobile search business …. this will be interesting.
