Doing a solar investment
October 16th, 2007 | by geo |The more I hear/read & consume all of the things that are happening in the alternative energy space, particularly solar energy, the more exited I get. We will see dramatic adoption of the use of solar energy in the next 4-8 years.
Just look at the numbers. SunPower stock had a 450% increase in just the past 2 years! Others in the space are seeing similar gains.
Japan and Germany are leaders in adopting solar technology (Gov’t subsidies) but the U.S. and others will be catching up soon. The will be a tax on carbon emissions and tax credits for use of solar. In the end, the ROI and gains from Solar are icomparable. It will be equal to or cheaper to use Solar vs. burning fossil fuels in the next 4 years. Get in NOW before the market boom.
